Residential Electronics and Paper Recycling Event
When: April 5th 11am to 4pm
Where: 12450 Fair Lakes Circle in Fairfax, VA (General Dynamics parking lot)
What: Electronics and Paper Recycling Event - also featuring paper shredding and data destruction services
Who: Any VA/DC/MD resident – no businesses please.
How: Consumers may bring any/all types of electronics – anything that plugs in (but no light bulbs or alkaline batteries). Turtle Wings personnel will be available to help unload cars. Turtle Wings can help remove and destroy hard drives on-site. Office Shredders will be available to shred any paper documents on site.
Cost: All electronics are free except for monitors; TV’s; and laptops which cost $10 due to domestic recycling costs. Hard drive destruction is $10/ device. Paper shredding is free. Cash only please.

Bikes for the World
Bring your unwanted or repairable bikes to the Bikes for the World collection event on Saturday, April 26th, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 2911 Cameron Mills Rd, from 9am - 12pm. Your bikes will provide transportation for families, entrepreneurs, doctors and others in many third world countries as opposed to taking up space in your storage area or a landfill.
